PARkERSBURG — Several events are planned in downtown Parkersburg during the late October, ranging from a masquerade ball to a German-themed art program to a Halloween party for all ages in the middle of Market Street.

In the first event, the Parkersburg Art Center’s League, the “PAC PALS,” will host its annual Halloween “MasqueRave” party from 8 p.m. to midnight Oct. 20 at the art center on the corner of Eighth and Market streets in downtown Parkersburg.

The event is aimed at adults ages 21 and over and features a chance to dress up for Halloween and enjoy a variety of activities at the art center.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the door. Advance tickets are available online at parkersburgartcenter.org/masquerave or at the art center’s front desk.

Proceeds benefit the art center’s fund that supports art-based educational activities for the local area. Premier Productions will sponsor the event as well as to DJ. In addition to dancing, the PALS will also offer refreshments, costume contests with prizes, a photo booth, and spooky decor, all made possible by donations and sponsorships from the community.
