Plan B to play in City Park show

PARKERSBURG – Plan B will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Summer Music in the Park concert series at Parkersburg City Park.

Members of Plan B are four local musicians with more than 100 years of combined performing experience. The band sings classic rock, country and blues.

It performs in the Parkersburg and Marietta area, but has opened for the Marshall Tucker Band, The Guess Who, Tanya Tucker, 38 Special, The Temptations, Sammy Kershaw, Little Texas and Josh Gracin. It has played at the Marietta Sternwheel Festival, Parkersburg Homecoming, Marietta River Roar, the Black Walnut Festival in Roane County and other venues in West Virginia and Ohio.

The summer music series is hosted by Artsbridge and Thursday’s performance is sponsored by Rick Modesitt. The concert is open to all and free to the public. In case of rain, the concert will be relocated to the horseshoe pit shelter.
