U.S. Air Force Heritage Ramblers concert sold out

PARKERSBURG – Tickets are gone for the free concert by the U.S. Air Force Heritage Ramblers 7:30 p.m. March 15 at the Smoot Theatre, an organizer said on Friday.

Response has been so overwhelming, tickets were cut off on Friday, Felice Jorgeson, executive director of the Smoot, said.

“Because of all the interest, we have no more tickets,” she said.

The Smoot, a Vaudeville-era theater, seats 720.

The show is sponsored by The Parkersburg News and Sentinel and the Smoot.

The Heritage Ramblers, part of the Air Force’s Heritage of America Band, specializes in Dixieland jazz. The band formed in 2010.

Under the direction of Tech. Sgt. John Garcia, members of the band are Master Sgt. Jennifer Dashnaw on clarinet, Staff Sgt. James Lantz on trumpet, Master Sgt. Mathew Dunsmore on tuba, Staff Sgt. Timothy Rogers on guitar and Staff Sgt. Darren Raybourne on drums.

Doors open 7 p.m. concert night.
