Belpre winery to take part in Ohio Uncorked

BELPRE — A Belpre winery is among the participants in an Ohio Wine Producers Association program celebrating June as Ohio Wine Month.

Ohio Uncorked will allow participants to travel to the 26 member wineries where they can enjoy a glass of wine or take home a bottle, then collect a signed or logoed cork that can be set in specially created cork board holder that when filled, will commemorate their travels. The holder can be used as a wall hanging or table trivet.

The event continues through the end of November.

When the board is completed, travelers will take a picture of the board and submit it to the Wine Producers Association by email to win a free ticket to one of four Ohio Wine Producers’ sponsored festivals:

* Vintage Ohio in Kirtland on Aug. 2-3

* Autumn Wine Affair in Port Clinton on Oct. 12

* Winter Wine Affair in Youngstown on Jan. 18

* Vintage Ohio South in early May 2020

For details about the event, go to OhioWines.org. Cost for participation is $30.
