Belpre Area Chamber of Commerce schedules dinner

Chaddock to speak at Oct. 26 event

BELPRE — Belpre Area Chamber of Commerce announces its plans and speaker for the 80th annual Dinner, set for Oct. 26 at Grand Pointe Conference and Reception Center, 1500 Grand Central Ave., Vienna.

Presenting his ideas regarding Legacy to the Community and Careful Estate Planning, Jeffery D. Chaddock, private wealth adviser, CRPC, and 1984 graduate of Belpre High School, will speak to guests following a buffet dinner.

Social Hour begins at 5:30 p.m., with the dinner and awards to follow. Features of the event include video spotlighting of platinum sponsors and networking opportunities during the social hour. Special celebration will highlight the milestone 80th year of the event in the history of Belpre Area Chamber.

Awards will be presented: Belpre Citizen of the Year, Entrepreneur/Small Business of the Year, Spirit of the Chamber, Business Person of the Year, Community Revitalization Supporter, BACC Youth Chamber Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, and Nonprofit of the Year.

Chaddock was named as one of the country’s top 1200 financial advisers 2010-2017 by Baron’s Magazine. Of Ameriprise Financial’s 10,000 advisers, Chaddock is currently number one within the company, managing a total of approximately $1.5 billion in client assets. His dynamic speaking style and fresh marketing strategies have made him a favorite keynote speaker within the financial services industry, the chamber said.

He has spoken to more than 100 groups across the U.S. He offers techniques to inspire both first-year and veteran financial advisers to create a more meaningful client experience, the chamber said. In 2015 he published his book, “The Martini Effect,” which instructs advisers to “be bold and think differently.”

Chaddock differentiates his practice by providing numerous civic, social and educational opportunities for his clients and their guests to participate in.

In 2016 he hosted 32 events in his continued effort to enhance the overall client experience and further develop his relationships.

Chaddock holds a B.S. degree in communications from Ohio University.

In 1988 he joined Ameriprise Financial in a financial planning capacity. With 29 years of experience, he operates office locations in Gahanna, Athens and Worthington, Ohio. His team has 38 members, including 14 financial advisers. He is involved with charitable organizations such as the Foundation for Appalachia Ohio, Grange Insurance Audubon Center, and The Dairy Barn Arts Center. He served on the Board of Trustees at Ohio University, where he established the Jeffery D. Chaddock Endowed Scholarship program.

Chaddock has pledged to donate 97 percent of his wealth to the Foundation for Appalachia Ohio as part of his estate plan. He resides in Ohio, Florida and New York.
