PARKERSBURG — A boy from Parkersburg is among the babies chosen to represent Fruth Pharmacy as a 2017 Mister and Miss Fruth.

Leland Fugett of Parkersburg is the son of Mark and Christina Fugett.

Also chosen as a Mister and Miss Fruth were: Cooper Wright of Nelsonville, son of Tiffani Deffenbaugh and Josh Wright; Novaleigh Taylor of Buffalo, W.Va., daughter of Tabitha Taylor; and Allison Egnor of Winfield, W.Va., daughter of Amanda Egnor.

Fruth Pharmacy held an event looking for four babies to be the “baby face” on its advertising. Children had to be no older than 36 months and there were 166 entrants across the Fruth regional pharmacy chain this year.

Fruth customers donated more than $7,000 for local baby charities by participating in the event and making in-store donations.

Each Mister and Miss Fruth will receive a photo package valued at $250. The babies will be featured throughout the year in the company’s advertising.

Fruth Pharmacy, a family owned company for 64 years, has 30 locations in West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky.
