Snap-on CEO to speak at Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley
VIENNA — The president and chief executive officer of Snap-on Inc. will speak to the Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley noon Wednesday at the Parkersburg Country Club.
Nick Pinchuk, Snap-on’s president and CEO since 2007, will discuss “The Dignity of Work.”
Pinchuk, who has been chairman of the board since 2009, prior to his appointment as president and CEO was Snap-on’s president and Chief Operating Officer and before that as senior vice president and president-Worldwide Commercial & Industrial Group.
Before joining Snap-on in 2002, Pinchuk served in several executive operational and financial management positions at United Technologies Corp. and held financial and engineering positions at Ford Motor Co.
He also serves as a director of Columbus McKinnon Corp.
He will conduct a Leadership Q&A at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Marietta College in Thomas Hall room 124.
The next speaker in the Roundtable series is attorney Tony Fiore of Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter at noon Nov. 2 at the Marietta Country Club.
The Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley is a non-partisan non-political educational organization that formed in 1982 as a result of collaboration between the Business and Economics Department at Marietta College and a group of business, civic and educational leaders.
The object of the Economic Roundtable is to promote an interest in and to enlighten its members and others in the community on important governmental, economic, and social issues.
The speaker series is open to its members only. Membership is open to all interested individuals at $35 a year.
