Jenna Long recognized for clinical excellence

MARIETTA – Jenna Long, PTA, has been added to the membership of the Gentiva Health Services’ Clinical Ladder Program for her clinical excellence in its practice as a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant.

The Clinical Ladder program recognizes and rewards exemplary clinicians and acceptance is based on criteria that evaluate the clinician’s clinical practice, care outcomes, and professional development.

“Jenna’s acceptance into the program is a testament to her hard work and dedication to clinical excellence,” said D.K. Farley, RN, Gentiva’s executive director in Parkersburg. “We are very proud that her commitment and special efforts have been recognized by the company.”

The Clinical Ladder consists of three possible levels of achievement for Gentiva’s clinicians. The requirements for attaining membership include meeting several criteria at each level. Clinicians must recertify every three years to remain in the program or to move to a higher level.

“We are pleased to offer this program, which we feel is important for attracting and retaining a high caliber of clinician,” said Charlotte Weaver, R.N., Ph.D., Gentiva’s chief clinical officer. “The clinicians who make the effort to become part of the Clinical Ladder serve as mentors and role models and are an inspiration to their colleagues.”
