Frontier promotes Shingleton
PARKERSBURG – Tammy Shingleton has been promoted to area general manager for the Parkersburg market of Frontier Communications, Dana Waldo, senior vice president and general manager for West Virginia, announced.
Her promotion was effective July 1.
“Tammy Shingleton has served as general manager in the Parkersburg market for more than two years, and we recognize the progress her team has made in serving our customers through broadband expansion and quality customer service,” Waldo said. “She has demonstrated her ability to take on leadership responsibilities.”
The Parkersburg market covers Brooke, Calhoun, Hancock, Marshall, Ohio, Pleasants, Ritchie, Tyler, Wetzel, Wirt and Wood counties.
Shingleton began her telecommunications industry career in 1989 and has held several management positions. Before becoming general manager, she was the West Virginia Operations dispatch resource manager, leading a team that dispatches and completes West Virginia field installation and maintenance assignments for businesses and wholesale and residential customers.
In addition to her operations experience, Shingleton also has worked in construction management.
Shingleton has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from West Virginia State College.
