Pickering hires four professionals

PARKERSBURG – Pickering Associates, an architecture, engineering and surveying firm, has hired process engineer Patrick Flora, environmental scientist Jesse Daubert, architectural designer Alan Reece and IT professional Jeremy Cornwell.

Flora is a recent chemical engineering graduate of West Virginia University. The Apple Grove, W.Va., native said he is looking forward to getting involved in the oil and gas development in the area.

Daubert is a 2009 graduate of Marietta College with a bachelor’s of science in environmental science. Before Pickering Associates, Daubert worked for the Friends of the Lower Muskingum River, first as an AmeriCorps V.I.S.T.A. volunteer, and then as a watershed coordinator through a grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

Daubert said he’s excited to be the newest addition to the civil engineering department.

Before joining Pickering, Reece worked with a mid-sized interior architecture team as a junior project architect and firm operations assistant in New York City.

Cornwell graduated from Ohio State University. An accomplished photographer, Cornwell will assist the marketing department.

“We’re thrilled to have four new professionals added to our team,” Erin Iafelice-McCullough, sales and marketing director at Pickering Associates, said. “It’s great for Pickering Associates and the area. We’ve noticed a need to expand and that means there is growth happening in and around the Mid-Ohio Valley. We’re thrilled to be a part of it.
