Peoples Bank will celebrate branch renovations

PARKERSBURG – Peoples Bank will celebrate its newly renovated branches at 3411 Emerson Ave., 2904 Pike St. and south Parkersburg Wal-Mart in Wood County with a series of grand reopening events Jan. 27-31.

The public is invited to stop by any of the six Wood County branches for refreshments. Additional branch locations are 2107 Pike St., 1102 Grand Central Ave. and Vienna Wal-Mart.

Included among the specials and giveaways throughout the week is a chance to win a $1,000 Visa gift card.

Founded in 1902, Peoples Bank has grown from a single location in Marietta to encompass more than 49 locations in Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky. In the fall of 2012, the company changed the face of its business in all markets with a new look, logo, and promise, according to a press release.

“We are always looking for ways to better serve our clients. As a full service provider (banking, insurance and investments), Peoples Bank is ready and capable to meet the financial needs of its clients at all stages of life. These renovations are an investment in our future, our customers, and the communities we serve,” said Michael Fitzpatrick, Peoples Bank vice president, regional manager.

Fitzpatrick noted that the renovations were extensive during the past several months. Everything that features the Peoples Bank name has undergone a transformation, ranging from a new logo to the remodel of its branches, he said.

In addition, each branch now features a community wall to showcase local community organizations and events.
