Kari Thompson named Stonewall vice president

MARIETTA – Stonewall has named Kari Thompson vice president of the company.

“I am very proud to announce that Kari Thompson has been named a vice president with Stonewall,” stated Tom Crooks, chairman of Stonewall.

Thompson joined Stonewall in 2006 as the firm’s public relations manager and was promoted to director of public relations in 2011 directing all work pertaining to the agency’s public relations services for a variety of clients, including the West Virginia Division of Tourism, Simonton Windows, Ohio Valley University, the Greater Parkersburg Convention and Visitors Bureau, Tamarack: The Best of West Virginia, and Guernsey County Visitors and Convention Bureau.

A graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Thompson has served in a variety of positions with business and nonprofit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity International, General Electric Plastics, and the Greater Parkersburg Convention and Visitors Bureau.
