CCMC acquires additional properties
PARKERSBURG – The Camden Clark Medical Center has acquired additional property in the areas of Seventh and Eighth streets in downtown Parkersburg.
In the most recent purchase, CCMC purchased four lots on 7 1/2 Street and two lots on Eighth Street from K&T LLC in a property transfer filed June 27 with the Wood County Clerk’s Office, at a value of $465,000.
Tim Brunicardi, director of marketing for the Camden Clark Medical Center, said the hospital recently purchased the property adjacent to its Memorial Campus.
He said there were no specific plans for the properties at this time, but said it will probably fit into the hospital’s consolidation plans. Brunicardi said the hospital has purchased “several lots” near the Memorial Campus.
More information about the hospital’s potential plans for the additional property may be ready for release within a couple of weeks, he said.
Over the next five years, the medical center is planning to move all of the operations from its St. Joseph’s Campus to the Memorial Campus, eventually closing the St. Joseph’s Campus.
“This will include new building projects around the Memorial Campus,” Brunicardi said.
