Lott sentenced in Wood County court

PARKERSBURG – A Wood County man was sentenced Tuesday after he was discharged from the drug court program.

Brandon James Lott, 25, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, was sentenced after he was unsuccessfully discharged from the West Central Drug Court.

Wood County Circuit Court Judge Robert Waters sentenced him on charges of fraudulent use of an access device and petit larceny.

Lott was sentenced to concurrent terms of five years with credit for 35 days served for the fraudulent use of an access device charge and one year in jail with credit for 35 days served for the petit larceny charge.

Three additional counts of petit larceny from the May 2012 grand jury indictment were dismissed. Lott was admitted to the drug court on Sept. 17, 2012, and his sentencing was deferred pending the outcome of his drug court participation.
