McKenzie Emrick and Travis Huffman were married on May 20 at Camp Mad Anthony Wayne Lodge in Huntington, W.Va. Minister Chris Roberts of the 26th Street Church of Christ in Huntington, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Brad and Brenda Emrick of Lubeck, W.Va. She is the granddaughter of Sue and the late Charles Emrick of Mineral Wells, Wiley and Janet Westfall of Slate, W.Va. and Dorothy Wine Cheuvront of Parkersburg. She is a 2010 graduate of Parkersburg South High School, a 2014 graduate of Marshall University with a bachelor of science degree in biology and a 2017 graduate of Marshall University with a doctorate of physical therapy. She is employed as a physical therapist for Premier Physical and Occupational Therapy in Ashland, Ky.
The groom is a 2010 graduate of Parkersburg South High School, a 2014 graduate of Marshall University with a bachelor of science degree in biology and a 2016 graduate with a masters of arts in teaching. He is employed as a secondary math teacher by Covenant School in Huntington.
The bride was escorted by her father, Brad Emrick.
Serving as bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Taylor Preece, Larissa Stacy, Kara Jobe, and sister-in-law Lauren Huffman. Maid of honor was the sister of the bride, Savannah Emrick. Lindsey Roberts, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Serving as groomsmen were friends of the groom, Toby Hill, Shane Roberts, Bryton Jobe, Dathan Jobe, Andrew Walls.
Best man was the groom’s brother, Hunter Huffman.
Flower girls were the bride’s grandmothers, Sue Emrick and Janet Westfall. Assisting with the guest book and other wedding arrangements were Pam and Brittney Polen.
After a honeymoon to Philadelphia, Penn., the couple resides in Barboursville, W.Va.
