Rachel Renee LeFebvre and Ryan Richard Chapman were united in marriage on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Upper Arlington, Ohio. The wedding mass was officiated by the Reverend David Huffman.
The bride is the daughter of Susan and Ray LeFebvre of Little Hocking. The bridegroom is the son of Valarie LaVeck-Dodson of Lancaster, Ohio and grandson of Shirley Chapman and Barbara Chapman, both of Logan, Ohio.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore an ivory Allure sheath dress with an appliqued lace overlay and wore her mother’s cathedral length veil. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white freesia.
Heather LeFebvre of Columbus, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Heather Bowen-Jones of Columbus, friend of the bride, served as bridesmaid. The flower girl was Mya LeFebvre, niece of the bride. The bridesmaids wore floor-length gowns in black tulle and lace. Each carried hand-tied bouquets of white spray roses, stock, lisanthus and freesia.
Andrew Borham of Dayton, served as best man. Scott Henderson of Bowling Green, Ky., served as groomsman. They wore black suits and bow ties. The groom wore a blue Calvin Klein tuxedo.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Warren High School. She is a 2007 graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor of science in biology and a 2011 graduate with an optometry doctorate. She is an associate optometrist at Drs. Quinn, Foster and Associates.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Ohio. He is a 2010 from Miami University with a bachelor of science in kinesiology. He is a 2012 graduate of University of Louisiana at Monroe with a masters of business administration. He works as an assistant director of enrollment marketing at Ohio University.
A reception with dinner followed at La Scala Italian Bistro in Dublin, Ohio with a 7 piece band as live entertainment.
The couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii and reside in Athens, Ohio.
