Hall-Carpenter

Katilyn Michelle Hall and Aaron Mykel Carpenter were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. July 16, 2016.

The double-ring ceremony. officiated by Pastor Stephen Tupitza, was held at Walnut Street Church of Christ located in Belpre.

The bride wore a strapless gown of sequins and satin in champagne that was passed on to her by her mother, Beverly Mundy. She escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by her father, William Hall.

Serving the bride as matron of honor was her cousin, Jasmine Morris. Serving as bridesmaids were her stepsisters Katelyn and Sierra Mundy, Kristen Gwynn and close friend Brittany Daughtery. Flower girls were Mackenzie and Kaylea Boyd, friends of the couple. They wore white crocheted lace sleeveless dresses accented with ribbon at the waistline in royal purple and baby blue.

Serving as best man was longtime friend Karl Church. Groomsmen were friends Kendrick Flinn, Justin Uhl, Jed Corra, and the groom’s brother, Joseph Carpenter. Preston Carpenter, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. Ushers were Christopher Johnston, brother of the bride, Joseph Mundy III, stepbrother of the bride and Noah Carpenter, nephew of the groom. They wore khaki dress pants, baby blue and royal purple dress shirts accented with baby blue and royal purple ties.

The groom is a 2013 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. He is employed by Shirt Factory & Sporting Goods. He is the son of Deloris Carpenter and Shelly Mellan of Parkersburg,  and grandson of the late George and the late Sue Smearman.

The bride is also a 2013 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. She is employed by Sonic. She is the daughter of William Hall (Sara Gwynn) and Beverly (Joseph) Mundy. She is granddaughter of the late Barbara Johnston, Arnold Johnston of Coolville, John Cyrenious “JC” Hall of Marietta, the late Loretta Duffy and the late Wilma Hall.

Several family members and friends attended the ceremony along with the reception that was also held at the Walnut Street Church of Christ. Close friend to the bride and member of the church Janet Venoy made a two-tiered baby blue cake with royal purple ribbon accenting both the top and bottom tiers along with coordinating flower and ribbon atop the cake.

The will reside in southside Parkersburg. A honeymoon will be taken at a later date.
