Lang—Jellison

Ruth Ellice Lang and Martin Urile Jellison were united in marriage at 12:30 p.m. April 2 at Grace Baptist Church in Plain Township (Canton,) Ohio. Rev. David Ryan of Grace Baptist, with involvement by Rev. Dan Stevens of Bible Baptist Church in Parkersburg, officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Stanley and Cynthia Lang of Marietta.

The groom is is the son of Larry and Jeanne Jellison of Quaker City.

The bride wore a strapless silk A-line gown with a corset back accented with beading, accompanied by an elbow-length veil with beading, and carried a bouquet of orange and white tiger lilies. Wedding colors were orange and silver. Music was selected by the groom.

The bride’s father sang, “A Parent’s Prayer” during the unity ceremony.

Elizabeth Lang, sister of the bride, of Marietta, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shannon Harsh of Alliance, Shanna Stewart of Belpre, and Julie Farrell of Cincinnati, all friends of the bride.

Cole Haas, friend of the groom, of Caldwell, served as best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Stoker of South Carolina and Kyle Schick of Virginia, friends of the groom; and Timothy Lang, brother of the bride, of Elkart, Ind.

The couple honeymooned with a four-day cruise in the Bahamas.
