Houser-Hauch

Erica Carmen Houser and James Victor Hauch were married in North Canton, Ohio on July 12, 2014.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Catherine Houser of Washington, WV and the granddaughter of the late Paul and Martha Houser and the late William O’Linn and Ada Johnson.

The groom is the son of Dr. James and Marie Hauch of Boardman, Ohio. He is the grandson of the late John R and Dorthea Becker and the late Dr. Francis and Loraine Hauch.

The wedding took place at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Reverend Monsignor James A. Clarke as officiant. Scripture readings were recited by Dr. Jack Becker and Mark Houser.

The bride’s twin sister, Stacy Houser, served as maid of honor with Allison Crislip, Amanda Hauch, sister-inlaw of the groom, and Jaclyn Houser, sister-in-law of the bride, serving as bridesmaids. Nick Hauch served his brother as best man. Dr. Chris Becker, cousin of the groom, Matt Beil, Ryan Patterson, Jason Houser, brother of the bride, Brian Harris, Michael McKeown and Giovanni Audino served as groomsmen. The nephew of the groom, Gavin Hauch, was the ring bearer.

The bride wore a fit and flare ivory lace gown over alabaster silk, set with touches of pearls and sequins. The gown had a bateau neckline over a sweetheart bodice. A simple alabaster satin band with a crystal brooch cinched the waistline. The keyhole back was accented with a corset closure. She wore a chapel length ivory veil with matching lace trim. She carried an ivory bouquet of roses with each rose being highlighted with a rhinestone. Attached to her bouquet were the high school class rings of her parents and grandparents.

The groom wore a black tux with an ivory shirt, tie, vest and pocket square. His suit was complemented with two ivory roses as his boutonniere.

The female attendants wore black knee length chiffon dresses each with various neck lines. The maid of honor’s dress was accented with rhinestone pendants and sash. They each carried bouquets of black magic red roses.

The male attendants wore black tux with ivory shirts and black ties and vests. Their boutonnieres were a black magic red rose.

A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the Kent State University Stark Campus Conference Center. A memory table was there to honor the grandparents of the couple.

The bride is a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in fashion merchandising. She is an assistant buyer for Jo-Ann Fabrics headquartered in Hudson, Ohio.

The groom graduated from Kent State University and Cleveland Marshall College of Law. He is the owner of Hauch Housing LLC and A&H Investments, both in Kent, Ohio.

After a two week honeymoon to Maui and Kauai, Hawaii the couple resides in Streetsboro, Ohio.
