Clarke-McDougle

Eric T. McDougle and Tannelle Olivia Clarke were married November 16, 2014, at Washington Oaks State Park Gardens in St. Augustine, Fla.

The bride is the daughter of Earl and Carol Clarke of Port St Lucie, Fla. She is a graduate of University of Florida with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies.

The groom is the son of Barry and Sheri McDougle of Vienna. He is a graduate from Nova Southeastern University with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies.

Prior to their marriage they both practiced in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of charmeuse silk with antique lace applique. The gown and veil were designed by the bride and her mother, and then lovingly sewn by her mother.

Julie McDougle, sister of the groom, read “A Blessing of the Hands” and Ian Clarke, brother of the bride, read “An Apache Wedding Blessing” prior to the exchange of the wedding rings.

Serving as matron of honor was Carol Clarke, mother of the bride, and Barry McDougle, father of the groom served as best man. Ring bearers were Camden and Kye Clarke, nephews of the bride.

Following the private wedding ceremony, the guests were transported to the Historic Sanchez House in the heart of Old Towne St., Augustine, for a formal dinner.

An evening of dancing followed. The DJ was the brother of the bride, Brian Clarke.

Following the wedding, the couple have embarked on an extended adventure to Hawaii, Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand. Upon their return, they hope to return to Florida and continue their careers.
