Emily Renee Offenberger and Eric Scott Evanoo were united in marriage Oct. 26, 2013, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in German Village, Columbus. Fr. Kevin Lutz officiated the double-ring ceremony. Soloist Tim Binegar, cousin of the bride, provided ceremony music.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Anita Offenberger of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of the late Charles and Roselyn Clogston and Mary Rita and the late Herman Offenberger. She is a 2005 graduate of Warren High School and a 2009 and 2012 graduate of Ohio State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a doctorate of physical therapy. She is employed as a physical therapist at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

The groom is the son of Donald and Litisha Evanoo of Hilliard. He is a 2001 graduate of London High School and a 2006 graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He is pursuing a civil engineering degree at Ohio State University.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was escorted by her father. She wore a gown of tulle and lace that featured a slim fitting silhouette with a raised neckline and contoured straps that continued around to the keyhole back. The gown was accented with a beaded sash and chapel length train and veil.

Megan Smith of Lewis Center, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Ashley Marshall, Michelle Priest and Liz Baker, high school friends of the bride, served as bridesmaids. Alyssa Meyer, college friend of the bride, and Beth Evanoo, sister of the groom, also served as bridesmaids. Caitlin Benton and Lauren White, sorority sisters of the bride, and Leslie Mahaney, cousin of the bride, delivered the ceremony readings.

Best men were Chris Coffey and Jeremy Wenner, friends of the groom. Groomsmen were Ryan Edmiston, Scott Cooper, Adam Yonley and Tom Reeves, all friends of the groom.

Dinner and dancing followed at The Athletic Club of Columbus.

After a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple resides in Hilliard.
