Pamela Jo Tritt and V.P. “Chip” Ferrell III were married on Aug. 10, 2013, at Bethany United Methodist Church in Parkersburg. The bride’s uncle, the Rev. Ron Whitlatch, and Pastor Mike Broadwater officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Butch and Sandy Tritt of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of Elmer and Jo Whitlatch of Parkersburg and the late Sherden Tritt Sr. and Coralee Cole of Wisconsin.
She is a 2007 graduate of Parkersburg High School.
She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Marshall University in 2011 and is set to graduate from the West Virginia University College of Law in May.
The bridegroom is the son of Kathy and Lou Thomas of Vienna and Paul Ferrell of Parkersburg.
He is the grandson of Willadean Casto and the late Robert Casto of Vienna, and Buddy and Jean Ferrell of Logan.
He is a 2007 graduate of Parkersburg High School.
He received a bachelor’s degree in industrial and management systems engineering from West Virginia University in 2011 and is set to graduate from the West Virginia University College of Law in May.
The bride was escorted by her father and was given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a white strapless lace A-line gown with beaded motif detail and a chapel train.
Roxanne Sutton, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor, and Stacy Tritt, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Emily Ferrell, sister of the groom, Devin Goudy, Jill Lansden, Sheridan Roush and Ivy Williams. They wore lavender one-shoulder, chiffon cocktail-length dresses.
Clark Ferrell, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Sam Ashley, Derrick Banerjee, Vinnie Conley, Jonathan Feathers, Colin McLain and Tyler Warner. They wore formal black tuxedos with traditional black bowties.
The guest book attendant was Pam Thomas. Music was provided by pianist Suellen Dodrill.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at the Parkersburg Shrine Club. The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Grand Pointe Conference Center.
The couple honeymooned at the Charleston Place in Charleston, S.C., before returning to their residence in Morgantown.
