Ashley LaRae Fouss and Nathan Lee Eschbaugh were united in marriage on Oct. 20, 2012, at the First Congregational Church in Marietta. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Linda N. Steelman.
The bride is the daughter of Jay and Laura Fouss of Lowell. She is the granddaughter of Charles Whalen and the late Erma Whalen of Waterford and Larry and Susie Fouss of Lowell.
The bridgroom is the son of Terry and Robin Eschbaugh of Reno. He is the grandson of Jerry and Irene Stevens and William and Yvonne Eschbaugh all of Reno.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore a fitted gown with a long flowing train. Champagne satin with cream overlay of French needle point Alencon lace, the queen of laces, beaded with crystals, bugle beads, rhinestones, pearls and sequins.
Maid of honor was Allison Fouss, the bride’s sister. Bridesmaids included Natalie Ball, Larrissa Keiser, Alexa Fouss, the bride’s sister, and Sarah Vadaj. The brides’ attendants wore amethyst silk cocktail length gowns adorned with pearls and rhinestone brooches and earrings to compliment the bride.
Ryan Eschbaugh, brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen included TJ Knowlton, Jordan Becker, Dexter Hughes and Jordan Thompson.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Marietta High School and a 2010 graduate of Marietta College with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and health science. She received a master’s degree in ahtletic training from Ohio University and is a 2013 graduate of the Physicans Assistant Program at Marietta College. She is a physician’s assistant with Marietta Memorial Hospital in Belpre.
The bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Marietta High School and a 2010 graduate of Marietta College with a bachelor’s degree in geology and is employed by Crosstex Energy Services with the commercial development division.
Immediately following the ceremony, guests attended a dinner and dancing reception held at the Marietta Shrine Club in Marietta.
After a honeymoon touring northern Italy, the couple now reside in Devola.
