Jordan Burkhart and Mike Ciarochi were united in marriage on May 18 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marietta. The service was performed by Fr. Charles Klinger, cousin of the bride. A reception was held at the Parkersburg Art Center following the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Scott and Jayne Burkhart of Vienna. She is the granddaughter of Judy Burkhart of Marietta, and Mark and Barbara Schauwecker of Parkersburg. She is the great-granddaughter of Eloise Burkhart of Marietta.
The groom is the son of Mike and Helene Ciarochi of Connelsville, Pa. He is the grandson of Dante Polla of Greensburg, Pa.
The maid of honor was Teresa Petit of Matthews, N.C. Bridesmaids were Carly Ciarochi, sister of the groom, of Connelsville, Pa., Rachelle Carello and Jen Hill of Morgantown, and Ashley McSweeney of New Martinsville, all friends of the bride.
Best man was Mike Babjak of Pittsburgh, Pa. Groomsmen were Dan White of Pittsburgh, Pa., Trent Krupica of Morgantown, Zack Moody of Bethany, W.Va., all friends of the groom, and Eric Munday of Columbia, S.C., friend of the bride. Ring bearer was Rocco Tajc of Indiana, cousin of the groom.
Both are graduates of Wheeling Jesuit University. The bride graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and in 2012 with a doctorate in physical therapy. The groom graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and he is pursuing a master’s degree in accounting.
Following a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Fayetteville, N.C.
