Dr. Ashley Gwendolyn Adamson and Dr. Chad Edward Bills, both of Chapin, S.C., were married Aug. 31 at Corley Mill House and Gardens in Lexington. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Keith Stewart. A reception followed the ceremony at the Corley Mill House and Gardens.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carey Adamson of Chapin, S.C., and the granddaughter of Betty Ekiss and the late Kenneth Ekiss of Moweaqua, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lawton and the late Vernon (Bunny) Adamson of Moweaqua, Ill. She is a graduate of Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C., and Palmer Chiropractic College in Daytona Beach, Fla. She is a chiropractor at HealthSouce Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab in Chapin.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bills of St. Marys, and the grandson of the late Gilbert and Oda Griffith and the late Howard and Bonnie Bills. He is a graduate of Marshall University in Huntington and Palmer Chiropractic College. He is a chiropractor at HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab in Lexington.
Drew Adamson, brother of the bride, was the man of honor. Bridesmatrons were Kandi Bickley, Laura McNaughton, Ashley Owen and Rachel Wood. Bridesmaids were Meggan Gilligan and Natalie Migoni. Heidi Bee, niece of the groom, was junior bridesmaid and Maria Bee, niece of the groom, was flower girl.
Jason Corrigan was the best man. Groomsmen were Nate Adkins, Brandon Huffman, Joseph Curtis, Brent Bierce and Joe Conaway.
A honeymoon to St. Lucia is planned and the couple will reside in Chapin.
