Mark Guinn and Brigit Boothe were united in marriage on June 13 during a double-ring ceremony held on Caswell Beach in Oak Island, N.C. .
The vows were exchanged just before sunset. The nondenominational ceremony was officiated by Alecia Geddings of Oak Island Weddings.
The bride wore a knee-length, halter top white satin wedding dress with aqua ribbon setting off the corsetted back. She carried a bouquet of white orchids that had the stems wrapped in aqua.
The groom and everyone in attendance wore white shirts and khaki shorts.
The bride’s mother, Helen Beer of Parkersburg; her sister, Amy Fletcher, of Ravenswood; and her two children, Blake and Ben Boothe of Pakersburg, were in attendance.
The groom’s mother and father, Kenny and Carolyn Guinn of Williamstown; his daughter, Ashton Guinn of Lowell, and his son, Xander Guinn of Williamstown, were in attendance.
The groom is a 1989 graduate of Williamstown High School and is a member of the International Brotherhood of the Electricial Workers.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and a 1996 graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg. She is employed by the Bureau of Public Debt.
The couple plan to take a honeymoon in the mountains of West Virginia later this summer. They reside in Parkersburg.
