Lindsay Rae Morrison and Justin Alexander Ross were united in marriage on Nov. 3, 2012, at Reno Christian Church. Pastors Dick Poole and Robert Smith officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Mia Morrison of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of Larry and Barbara Morrison of Marietta, and Helen Whiteley and the late Raymond Whiteley of Whipple.
She is a 2009 graduate of Marietta High School and a 2011 graduate of Washington State Community College. She is employed at Marietta Health and Wellness Center as a licensed massage therapist.
The bridegroom is the son of Steven and Renea Ross of Marietta. He is the grandson of Butch McGregor of Marietta and the late Ila McGregor, and the late Robert and Iva Ross. He is also the great-grandson of Marie McGregor of Marietta. He is a 2009 graduate of Frontier High School and a 2011 graduate of Washington State Community College. He is employed at C&C Dodge Toyota in Marietta.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a formal gown of white bridal taffeta. It was designed with a sweetheart neckline corseted-style bodice, which was encrusted with pearls, crystals and rhinestones.
The full princess pick-up-style skirt carried a cathedral length train. The bride’s veil was a single layer fingertip illusion with scattered crystals and rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of Kilimanjaro gerbera daisies and white roses accented with purple statice.
Taylor Morrison, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marisa Dunaway and Kayla Fought, friends of the bride. They wore royal purple chiffon floor-length gowns with rouching on the bodice and carried bouquets of Kilimanjaro gerbera daisies accented with purple statice. The flower girls were Ava Stephen, cousin of the bride, and Emma Claire Brooker, cousin of the bridegroom.
Andrew Ross, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Troy Carpenter and Joey Warren, friends of the groom. The ringbearer was Parker Burris, cousin of the bride.
A reception was held at the Marietta Shrine Club with a buffet-style meal and was followed with a DJ and dancing the rest of the evening.
After a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, the couple resides in Marietta.
