Massey—Hopkins

Susan Lynette Massey and Christopher R. Hopkins, were united in marriage in an outdoor ceremony at the Lodge and Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

The bride is the daughter of Sayre Underwood of Ormond Beach, Fla., and John Massey of New Smyrna, Fla.

The groom is the son of Darlene Barnett of Parkersburg and Bob Hopkins of Vienna.

He is the grandson of Thelma Parks of Parkersburg, and Lena Hopkins of Mineral Wells.

The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Dr. Tim McNeil of Ormond Beach, Fla.

Given in marriage and escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline.

The mermaid-style dress was adorned with crystal beading flowing into a chapel train.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Joanna Massey of Brooklyn, N.Y. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Kristen Melton of Atlanta, Ga., and Lisa Nguyen of Jacksonville, Fla. Flower girls were Lilly and Lindsay Hopkins, daughters of the groom, of St. Augustine, Fla.

Best man was Ryan Hopkins, brother of the groom, of Parkersburg. Groomsmen were Kyle Bradford, cousin of the groom, of Bolivar, Ohio, and Jason Thomas of Jacksonville, Fla. Ring bearer was Kainan Bradford, cousin of the groom of Bolivar.

A buffet-style dinner and dance was held in the ballroom of the hotel.

The bride is a graduate of University of Central Florida in Orlando and is a realtor with Watson Realty of Jacksonville, Fla.

The groom is a graduate of Robert Morris College of Pittsburgh, Pa., and is a regional sales manager with PSS World Medical of Jacksonville, Fla.

After a honeymoon in Los Suenos, Costa Rica, the couple resides in Jacksonville, Fla.
