Together with their parents, Julie Elisabeth Kline and Joshua Adam Dubs announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Trudy Kline of Parkersburg. She is a 2010 graduate of Wood County Christian School in Williamstown, and is set to graduate in May from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders. She is a member of Alpha Chi, a national academic honor society, and a four-year member of the women’s tennis team at Geneva. She will pursue a master’s degree in speech-language pathology in the fall.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Craig and Laura Dubs of Hanover, Pa. He is a 2010 graduate of Spring Grove Area High School in Spring Grove, Pa., and is set to graduate in May from Geneva College with a bachelor’s degree in music education. He has participated in the Geneva College Marching Band and Genevans’ choir for four years. He has been an officer in the band for three years as well as an officer in the choir for two years.
A wedding is planned for May 31 at the Tri-City Baptist Church in Parkersburg, with Pastor Joe Ward officiating.
