The parents and grandparents of Karrissa Elizabeth Ezell and Justin Michael Knight announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley S. Ezell of Pennsboro. She is the granddaughter of James and Helen Griffith and the late Karen Griffith of Pennsboro, and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Lavender of McRae, Ark. She is a 2008 graduate of Ritchie County High School and a 2012 graduate of Alderson-Broadduezells College with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

She is attending West Virginia University pursuing a master’s degree to become a nurse practitioner. She is employed at United Hospital Center.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth E. Knight of Clarksburg.

He is the grandson of the late Jack and Daphne Gillespie of Clarksburg, and Bob Knight and the late Eleanor Knight of Clarksburg. He is a 2007 graduate of Liberty High School and a 2011 graduate of Alderson-Broaddus College with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and sports medicine. He is employed at Travis Physical Therapy and BodyWorx Center for Fitness in Salem and Doddridge County Schools.

A wedding is planned for Sept. 21 in Harrisville. After a trip to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Clarksburg.
