Together with their families, Christine Lee Sikorski and Eric Robert Addessi announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Joseph and Karen Sikorski of Boaz. She is the granddaughter of Jon and Dot Leonard of Boaz, and Stanley and Patricia Sikorski of Hightstown, N.J. She is a 2008 graduate of Williamstown High School and a 2012 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, summa cum laude.

She is enrolled at Marshall University, working on a master’s degree in counseling and is set to graduate in 2014. She is employed by Marshall University.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Robert and Melanie Addessi of Fort Ashby, W.Va. He is the grandson of Sara and the late Vincent Addessi of Erie, Pa., and the late Betty and Robert Briggs of Utah. He is a 2008 graduate of Frankfort High School of Ridgeley, W.Va., and a 2012 graduate of West Virginia University, with a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering. He is employed at Energy Corporation of America as a petroleum engineer in Charleston.

A wedding is planned for June 8 in Williamstown at the First Presbyterian Church, with a dinner reception to follow at the Marietta Country Club.

The couple will reside in Charleston.
